blist is the world’s easiest database, it’s a database for the rest of us. blist is easy, visual, and intuitive. blist is a database that works like a spreadsheet, only more powerful. blist is hosted online, so that you can access your data from anywhere and share blists with colleagues and contacts.

blist is free for consumers. Eventually we'll introduce some inobtrusive advertisements to the consumer version, allowing us to continue to offer blist for free indefinetely. Later this summer we'll introduce a premium version designed primarily for small businesses. The premium version will be ad free, have virtually unlimited storage and a few other premium features that we're working on now. Data – most people tend to picture a spreadsheet full of text and numbers.

But data is more interesting than that – data could be a whole set of photos or documents.

And sometimes data doesn’t fit into one neat little cell, some people have one phone number, some people have five, some people have three - blist just works intuitively, without having to shoehorn your plan into a spreadsheet.

If you are keeping track of a large amount of data, you might have a table with fifty columns so you can't see all the information at once.

blist lets you view and edit individual records in a clear, single-page view and flip through your records like a card catalog.

How do you find something specific in a large spreadsheet? Do you sort by one column, cut and paste a section into another sheet, and then sort again? blist lets non-technical people find exactly what they are looking for, building up complex queries visually and intuitively. Have a specific subset of your data that you refer to a lot? Make that query once, save it as a lens on your data, and go back to it anytime.

Frequently, spreadsheets include a long column of dates - blist lets you click once and view all those dates in a friendly calendar layout. In calendar view you can drag and drop one item onto another day - when you go back to your table, the date has updated automatically.
